Girl Zone is a hip and healthy online magazine and community for teenage
girls ages 12 and up. The site provides information and interactivity to
teen girls in an empowering environment. Girl Zone was originally
launched in 1997 with a specific “whole girl” mission in mind. Founder,
MJ Reale states, “Girl Zone was one of the first websites to target teen
girls and quickly became a top destination for this group. While the
internet has vastly changed, many issues relevant to girls’ lives have
not changed. We are excited about the re-launch and will continue to
listen to and involve girls of this generation.” Girl Zone offers rich
